Shaliah Peeples, Grade 12
Her teacher wrote: Shaliah joined the VCS family in 4th grade and currently is in her senior year. She enjoys dance, writing poetry and photography. She has spent a great deal of time over the past ten years participating in modern, ballet, pointe and tap dance at Ballet Western Reserve. She is an active member at Standing in the Gap Ministries where she is part of the Young Entrepreneurship Council and was also a part of the VCS Mission Team her junior year. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.
Shaliah works hard and strives to do well academically. She was on the President’s List 1st quarter and is set to do the same this quarter. She takes responsibility for her work and communicates with her teachers regarding classwork and attendance. She shows great drive and determination to excel and grow in the classroom and as a young adult. Shaliah plans to attend college after graduating from VCS and major in biology or biomedical science. More importantly than her school work, Shaliah is a kind, compassionate and empathetic person. She always expresses concern for other students and staff and takes time to care for those around her. She has been a pleasure to have as a student, not only because she works hard, but because she brings a sense of joy and peace to those around her. Her sweet and fun spirit makes Valley a better place. Shaliah truly exemplifies Love More-Expect More-Be More!
