The Harmonix

Students will learn how to work as a team in an orchestra and deepen their knowledge of music. The club will cover four parts of musicianship including repertoire, technique, theory, and improvisation. Opportunities will be given to work together in small groups. Students will ultimately create a performance for parents and others to watch.

Knights and Castles A study of the Middle Ages

Students will learn about the Middle Ages including, social classes, government, family crests, castles, and knights and their armor.  There will be many hands-on activities, such as creating their own family crest and shield, building a catapult, and designing and building their own castle.

Mobile App Creator

The club will focus on creating a mobile app for the Lewis Center families to view important information and upcoming events. The students will also be able to create their own app that allows them to use their interests to create something beneficial for others.
