Students of the Week 5/23-27
Our 3-5th Grade Student of the Week is Lane Burton.
His teacher wrote: I nominated Lane because he has come so far in such a short amount of time. His sense of humor is one of a kind and he never fails to crack a joke to make his friends laugh. Even through frustration, he will complete his school work. Lane is very bright and a superstar in math!
Lane loves to play with Transformers, watch YouTube, and build with Legos. His favorite thing to do is to
swing on the swing during recess or race his friends. His favorite movie is the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Our 6-8th grade Student of the Week is Austin Brown.
His teacher wrote: Austin is always going above and beyond and continues through lessons even when they are not due in that class to get further ahead. He also has finished first in our last three class challenges applying what he has learned and showing success from it.
Our Student of the week is Malachi Gibbs.
His teachers wrote, “Malachi has always been an extremely motivated student at VCS. He strives daily to achieve high grades and has made an amazing impact on the school!”
His parents wrote, Malachi has always been a determined, focused, caring, and good-hearted person. He always has displayed excellent grades and has been academically honored for honor roll, deans, or presidents list. Once he begins anything he never stops. His mindset has always been to complete the mission. His heart and soul is football and his other hobbies are, weightlifting, and playing video games.
Malachi is also going to Kent State University for a double major in Sports medicine and Graphic Art Design.
